What types of products does ProTools sell?

ProTools Solutions produces banners, brochures, flyers, business cards, address stickers, car window stickers (in several varieties), car magnets, CDs, DVDs, books, and a wide variety of promotional/logo products. Many of these products can be personalized by individual purchasers.

How does the personalization process work?

To project a professional image, many of our customers prefer to personalize our products. All of the many personalized materials are sold through customer-branded online stores. The customer can choose the design or background, input their information and see immediately, as they type, how the product will look. Once the order is submitted the information is stored in a secure database, is then downloaded and entered into pre-made templates. Because of our efficient technology and in-house production, most personalized orders can be shipped the same day the orders are received.

How does ProTools ship the products and how long do agents have to wait for delivery?

Products are shipped from Salt Lake City, Utah using the delivery method that the customer requests. Generally items are shipped by UPS ground, the most economical method, and items typically arrive 2 to 4 days following shipment, depending on proximity to Salt Lake. For an additional cost, customers can request expedited shipment.

Does ProTools stock my materials?

Yes, ProTools Solutions does the inventory purchasing, storage and fulfillment. Free your people to concentrate on their day-to-day jobs, and let ProTools handle all the inventory issues.

Are there any requirements for submitted art?

Artwork sent to ProTools from corporate headquarters should meet certain requirements. They are the following:

Electronic File Requirements:

We are able to process files from the following programs:

  • Adobe Illustrator (.ai, .eps)
  • Adobe InDesign (.indd)
  • Adobe Photoshop (.psd, .tiff)
  • Adobe Acrobat PDF files (.pdf)
  • and in many cases: QuarkXPress 3.3 – 4.1 (.qxd)

Important Notes:

  • We prefer layered files if at all possible.
  • Please include all linked images or files as well as fonts required for the project where necessary.
  • If possible, convert text to outlines to avoid font problems.
  • Raster images should be 300dpi and the longest dimension should be between 5 and 12 inches.
  • Compress files with Stuffit or WinZip.

We prefer layered files if at all possible. Text may be outlined if there will be no more changes in the future.

Logos

We prefer that logo artwork be sent in a vector format, either AI or EPS. Vector graphics can be resized without the loss in quality that can occur with a raster image.

Style Guides

Please provide any corporate style guides containing preferred fonts, company colors, logos and guidelines and rules to us. That will help us to ensure that your corporate branding is adhered to and protected.
